Context:

This procedural guide documented a new workflow for creating singular and plural versions of publications within Deloitte's component content management system (CCMS). The process required duplicating topics, variables, and publications while maintaining correct conditioning and tagging in the repository—steps that had not been previously documented, leading to inconsistent approaches and errors.

Activities:

  • Researched and tested the plurality workflow using Deloitte's CCMS (Tridion Docs) to validate technical accuracy and repeatability
  • Authored plain-language, step-by-step procedures to document and standardize the process
  • Ensured adherence to DITA-based architecture and metadata standards throughout the workflow
  • Organized complex, multi-step processes into clearly labeled sections with checklists and consistent terminology
  • Created a structured, markdown-based internal reference to make instructions easy to maintain and share across teams
